Son Shine

For the longest time, Brother Bear has resisted learning to print "properly", insisting on using his own brand of "cursive" writing as often as he could get away with it. Getting him to finish two pages per day in his Handwriting Without Tears printing book was a chore. The day his HWT cursive workbook arrived, he completed a dozen pages, sitting at the chess table in the sunshine, in beautiful, loopy script.

Passion rocks, even when we don't understand it.
